The Names of God… Our Father, authored by Paula Lively
It is much easier to make a list of the character qualities of someone you know and LOVE then to describe a stranger. You could start with their name, adding other words that describe them...mother, wife, friend, teacher, singer, etc.
But can you describe God? Even a non-believer can do that, but they don’t LOVE Him. As we study His Names each week, His character will be revealed to us resulting in an explosion of our belief and trust in Him. His invisible attributes, His eternal power and His divine nature will become a part of us as we get to know Him, our Lord Jesus, through His NAMES.
